Boosting COVID-19 vaccination uptake using wastewater surveillance: a county-randomized controlled trial

A first-of-its-kind wastewater-focused vaccination campaign was successfully implemented across 20 counties in New York State. The campaign achieved real time, data driven targeting and had high digital reach and engagement. However, more efforts are needed to drive vaccine behavior change.
